Share a proposal link yourself

Sometimes you want the link, not the send. You are already on the phone with them, or you would rather it came from your own number.

Press Share link in the footer. You get options to copy it, use your phone’s share sheet, or open a pre-filled email or text.

It works on a proposal you have never sent, and on one you have. It also works on one you have never saved — pressing it saves the proposal first, so you do not have to remember to save before grabbing the link.

What it does and does not do

Saves the proposal first	So the link shows your latest lines, not the version before your edits
Reuses the existing link	A proposal you already sent shares the same URL, so the one in their inbox keeps working
Sends nothing	No email, no text, no automation

Note

Because nothing is sent, the proposal is not marked as sent. That also means it does not get the two-day follow-up or the expiry warning, since both hang off the send. If you want those, use Save & send to customer instead.

Present only appears on a proposal you opened from its job — from Proposals or Jobs, not on a brand new one. Save the proposal first and open it again, and the button is there.
